Great poem, ILB ... the calm will come once the waters you have stirred up by leaving TWI have had a chance to settle ... just remember, you made the RIGHT choice to leave. It takes a while for all of us to have that "peaceable fruit of righteousness." Thankfulness is a great key.
I know being able to share my heart and soul on here has helped me work things out in my own little brain. I've thought out loud on here, blurted and posted some pretty off the wall stuff and it's helped me at least as much, if not more, than the paid therapy I also have.
I think you maybe someday should look into submiting your works on a board that recognizes talents and has "others" who can write .
People who are passionate about writing poems and journals.
it is a talent and to be in amoung your own it may be even better . to find a group that you can really share not just the work of your writing, but those who share the passionate work of the doing of it.
feedback and giving to ohers may help you grow even further in writing.
one of nephews is a published author of poems he has told me of his travels of finding a home inthe writing community i think you would also enjoy the fellowship in the midst of those who share that bond.
just a thought .
i sure the net if full of aspiring writers maybe you do not need a blog just find a some that share your love for writing.
also im certain there are contests and sites where you can submit your stuff for publishing .
Wow Bagpipes - did you peek in my head!?!?!? I love that poem - it hits home for me - in my TWI days I would have claimed I got the original revelation on that poem! Thanks -

Totally awesome!
And the last verse bears repeating:
Gave me goosebumps, it did!

I admire anyone who can put their feelings in writing-and that one's a doozy. Thanks for having the courage to share with us.
Let's hear it for Pipes!

Miss Pipes,
You write in poetry what I've been setting to prose - only I'm not a writer by trade - as you well know.
Maybe we should collaborate with poetry and illustrations...
