here is mine to the quintessential Easter confection--

huddled together

yellow, soft, Easter delight

voiceless, waiting PEEPS

Jelly beans, choc'late

Sudo, in route to the bank

I really like that! The Zebra Finches' babies are getting bigger in my classroom and that could easily apply to them! I may even write your poem up and put it beside their cage. Do you mind?

Caramel Cadbury Eggs

dark, sweet lumps of pure sin

stuck right to my hips

OK, here's the one that I put up in my room by the bird cage...AND one of the baby boys flew a bit today and then couldn't get back into the nest. It was so funny to watch him try. He was so cute balancing himself on that perch until he fell off.

Here goes:

PEEPS (reworked)

Huddled together

Hungry, soft, fluffy finches

Chirping, waiting PEEPS
