terminites/ mulch

Looks like the trees from Katrina where mulched and sent to Home Depot and Lowes. Now there is a warning out that the mulch is carrying terminites..

Yesterday, I helped a friend spread 12 bags of mulch which we bought from Home Depot....

Not sure what brand it is. She bought the dyed red mulch..

she doesnt know about this yet. I just got this email.

Ahhh, gotta love snopes. If I had known it was an email source, I would have done that myself, but I went to the link you posted with the scienctific stuff about termites, and saw nothing there about Home Depot etc. Thanks for passing on the correction.

I am glad termites are not munching much mulch. :-D
