One who is called by Jesus the Christ or sent by Jesus Christ for the work of Apostleship. This person was appointed by Jesus the Christ by the will of God. This person is to guide the church during his or her life time. But words he or she wrote can be used to help us build faith in our lives because he or she writes by the Christ in him or her guiding him or her. This apostles are sent to bring to light unto the generation they live or clear up on light that got lost or misunderstood over time. This new light or old light better understood marks his ministry unto the children of God of his time. His or her life is focus on accomplishing the mission set ahead of him or her by Jesus the Christ. The first twelve apostles were to set up the church that Christ die for. Christ was said to be chief corner stone of the foundation of the church build by the apostles. Eph 2:20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; Now there are still apostles today and there will be until time is over and Christ has return making no more needs because we will know as we are known.
