Understanding the Love of God.

God bless your life as you learn to love God and understand what great love God and his son have for you.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son,

that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Yes God loves you to the point that he gave up the most dearest person he had his only begotten son Jesus the Christ. And Jesus Christ went to the cross out of love for you.

Now some may ask did Jesus Christ have a choice and could he turn down God. Yes Jesus Christ could of turn down God but Jesus Christ all ways did the Father will. But would God of help Jesus Christ if he did not want to die for us.

Matthew 26:52 Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place:

for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.

53 Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give

me more than twelve legions of angels?

54 But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be?

Now since we now know that Jesus Christ never had to die for us but he did it because he love God and us. Do you know of any earthly person that loves you enough to give up their son for you .

Now that is some love which God and Jesus Christ loves you with but since they love us with such great love of God. How great of love do we love them back with?

After thinking about how big the love of God is toward us. Now we can understand how a father or mother loves their children.

Luke 11:11 If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?

12 Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?

13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

We can all understand how earthly father’s and mother’s love their children because we all have close family members. Everybody has somebody that has tough their life like a good father and mother would do.

Matt 6:26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much

better than they?

Yes God takes care of the least of all things on this earth even the fly. Does not some fruit of the trees fall to the ground for the flies to eat. And we are all greater better than the fly of the earth.

There is no greater love than the love God has shows toward us . And there no end to what God will do to show us his love toward us. This love of God as no end for their is no greater love than his love. And if there be no end than we need to grow in that love and walk in it as we love each other.

The word charity means the love of God in action. But to understand the love of God as the word charity we must read more about it.

I Cor 13:1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

(though I had been save and have feel it by the gifts of God if I walk not by the love of God and walk by the flesh I am of no profit to God )

I Cor 13:2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries,

and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains,

and have not charity, I am nothing.

( though I have all the gifts of the spirit and all understanding of the truth in the word of God is great and my believing is of action by my teaching or believing

I remove mountains of sin calling many to get save but without the love of God I am nothing)

I Cor 13:3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.

(works without the love of God there is no great reward for the person doing the works of the flesh)

I Cor 13:4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,

5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;

6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;

7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

(All things that line up with truth, All things pertaining to walking by the gifts of the spirit with the love of God in your heart is the love of God)

I Cor 13:8 Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail;

whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge,

it shall vanish away.

9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.

10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.

(When Jesus Christ comes there will be no need of the gifts of the spirit because we will know him as he knows us or to put it simple to hear, feel, or

to see God we will have no need to operative the gifts of holy spirit but just talk face to face with Jesus Christ and God)

I Cor 13:11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

(When I was first born again I was like a baby in the womb and God had to feed me with milk but has I grow I learn to eat solid foods and than the best steak of truth I ate at the return of Christ)

I Cor 13:12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I

know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

(Now faith came by hearing the truth of the word of God, while we reach for the hope of the second coming of Christ, but the love of God made all things happen because he loved us first.)

Now I love to think about the love of God and want all to know that I only understand part of its greatness but I look for the day that I can give God a face to face hug and kiss.

Now can we tell God enough that we love him back? No but we just do our best as we walk in this evil world. God is love and once we feel that love with our heart there is nothing greater that we will ever feel. God and Jesus Christ loves us.
