hey, I have a busy schedule. I'm lucky I finished it at all.
bravo to Peter Jackson for ending the first movie about one chapter into the second book.
I don't know if you've bought the others, but the other day at Border's I saw a paperback that had all three combined into one, and it wasn't too big. The only bad thing is that it had the photos of the actors in the movie on the cover. I hate books like that.

I have all four (including The Hobbit) in a boxed set. Not themed to the movies, but they don't have Alan Lee's wondrous illustrations, either.
If I'm not mistaken, the Lord of the Rings comes to about 1,000 pages.
