My WOW name tag from 76'-77' is pretty useless as an ice scraper or any other functional use. It had an odd shape, with the round 'way' logo resting on top of a longer name plate, with the name typed on a piece of paper and glued on. I wasn't TOO embarressed to wear that thing and only broke it out for 'official' way type meetings. All those 'propaganda' pictures of happy wow's wearing their nametags while working at McDonalds did not inspire me for a second to do the same. Tho I DID suffer through a McDonalds job as a wow.
I put mine to good use inorder to remind me of the "Prevailing Mindset" in TWI. I use them to scrape the frost and ice off my car windows in the morning.
If you have a variety (wow, college division, corps, staff, advanced class, advances, etc.) maybe you could break them into small pieces and make a mozaic design.

Let's see......
It's good for scraping candle wax off things.
It's good for scraping goo off the kitchen counter.
You can use the height to measure shots in a glass
You can wear it to places where no one has heard of TWI and lead them to believe you're someone very important.
You can glue a magnet to the face of it and attach kitchen magnets to it for changes in accessorizing your wardrobe.

You should come to one of my parties, George! ;)
I meant using the short end of the nametag, not the nametag lengthwise. ^_^ But I like the way you think!!

A friend of mine holds *CD flipping* parties.
He buys CD's at garage sales (for dirt cheap)
Then buys a keg of beer,
then throws a party;
And sees who can *flip* the CD's furthest into his back yard
(which is about two acres worth of land!)
Methinks nametags (should you have any left)
would serve the same purpose!!

(I will agree -- they make dandy ice-scrapers too!!)
