Mike, I only highlighted the part of your post that I was responding to.
I always change my posts to blue. If you actually read this thread from page 1, you'll find out how many more options are on this site - INCLUDINGvery easy ways to tell what threads you've read already, how to go to the last post since you were last on a thread, etc.
Granted, it will take some time on your part, but I think you're a big boy and can handle reading three pages of information to find your answer. ;)
We do have ways to do some of those things it just takes a little exploration. Check around in your personal areas. Look along the sides of each screen there too.
I just discovered that both activity color coding and font control are available by clicking the "Lo-Fi Version" button at the bottom/midscreen of every page.
Text size seems to be unaffected by this proceedure with my MS IE browser.
It works for other sites and the old GSC, but not this one.
Actually, it is because the font size is (most likely) set in the style sheet that is on most web sites nowadays. Many times the paragraph font (the one that has the content of an article rather than the title) is preset to Arial, and about 10-12 font size or to some other oft-used setting.
Some browsers can work their way around this, but (for now) IE can't.
My guess is WordWolf that you figured it out! There's a lot of stuff here to fiddle with, and a lot of it doesn't work the way we think it will - so - we'll just have to learn how it does work.
I'm sure you'll agree with me, that it's worth it to fiddle around with these new tools 'cuz the place is terriffikk and the results are worth it.
I changed my avatar to something that looks a little less like Jon Lovitz, but a little more, shall I say, BROWN than my last avatar.
Dude... you don't look like Lovitz at all (but that pic did!) and you looked somewhat "browner" when you were in town (or was that just the effects of the Flying Saucer?
oh... and you guys can always send some cabbage to his (paw's) email address through paypal... whenever you want to... no pressure, no guilt... just if you want to, it's always been available to you...
"I cannot post anything - keeps telling me to log on and then won't accept my userid & password .... I even created (nobody can create but God (first)) a new userid & password, but still cannot do jack upset."

Sorry to take so long to get back with you. The gallery was having problems and I wanted to get them fixed before responding, which has been done.
I'm going to write up a how-to for the Gallery shortly. The Every Picture Tells A Story forum is semi-depricated now (meaning, it is being replaced by the Gallery).
Short answer:
You can access the Gallery by clicking on the Gallery link at the top of each page (between Chat and Help).
You can create your own album by clicking on "My Controls" (just below the Gallery link at the top) and then "Your Albums" in the menu on the left hand side in the Invision Gallery section. Any album you create will go in the Members Gallery section.

No, it's just ONE post of mine where the quote tags are COMPLETELY refusing to work.
I've been using the quotes a LOT since arriving....
remember? The Wonderland thread has a lot of those posts...
I hope that one post is just a fluke...

By the way, there is now a Rafael Olmeda web site. No religious content or links.
