Yeah, I took that class ("Blessings of Liberty") many years ago - in 1976 or 1977. I think it was Albany NY (I know it was a live class), and was in the Fall of the year. I even recall taking it or portions of it "again," on audio tape.
Odd, how that there seems to be a "class" for every purpose under heaven. But then, without classes . . . -I'll stop that train of thought there.
I don't remember whether Hayes' org. at that time was called Christian Political Alliance, or Constitutional Political Alliance. I know the name was changed to the latter at some point.
Anyone remember a weekend in the word, or maybe it was a heartbeat festival in Philly (April 1977) where on the last day (Sunday) someone suggested to VP to take up a collection to benefit Hayes? As I recall, VP was hesitant at first, then said ok, as long as it wasn't done using the Horns of Plenty - I seem to remember they used water pitchers.

Didn't know he even had one, cool.
Liberty can erode under perilous times unless we fight to protect it.
Did you hear about the gun confiscations happening right now in Louisiana?

Yes.
Thought it was great.
sorry for the trouble he had as an aftermath of dealing with a corrupt Christian group.
Thought Hayes Gehagen was a great guy and a good teacher.

Yes.
Twice.
In Raleigh,NC in 1978
In Dallas during the WOW year 1979.
I had earned a Bachelors in Political Science by the time I took that class.
It was another shameless self promotion of TWI.

Yeah, I took it.
Lots of shameless self-promotion and even more dubious "insider" info. about the evil goings-on in the inner circle of Washington D.C.
He seemed like a nice guy, all the same. I think maybe he's grown out of that nonsense by now...

Yep.. well, shameless self promotion aside, I did learn a lot more about the constitution and such than knew previously.
I still have the little red book that came with the class.. "Our Republic" by Harry Atwood- think that was the name of it.
