pawtucket Posted September 7, 2005 Share Posted September 7, 2005 I just got this from Infopop (reason number 432 why we are leaving) We normally give at least 48 hours notice for scheduled downtime, but we have recognized a potential issue with your server that requires more immediate attention. As such we will be performing emergency maintenance tonight and tomorrow night to fix these issues. As a token of our appreciation for your understanding and patience we will be giving you a 20% discount in your next monthly statement. Tonight - September 7 at 2AM PDT: After the nightly backup finishes, we will be taking the server offline for approximately 1 hour while we perfom in depth inspection. Tomorrow Night - September 8 12AM PDT to 4AM PDT: After nightly backups, we will be taking the machine down for up to 4 hours to swap out hardware and perform software maintenance.
