Prayers for the Gulf Coast (Katrina)

At our radio club meeting last night, we had a guy from Salvation Army saying that things are so bad, no health and welfare messages, at least enquiries INTO the effected areas, will be answered for a very very long time, maybe even weeks..

Psalmie, I think you may have to wait for a message from your friend. I hope said person is OK..praying here anyway.

I guess the thing I'm trying to say..

If you don't hear anything in the next couple of days, that doesn't mean anything in itself.

Unless they have one of those "magic" cell phones, probably won't hear anything for a while..

Belle, I'm looking at that site now.

Ham, I hope that is the case--if she is one of those at the Superdome, she wouldn't be able to call me til she gets rescued.

Danny--body bags? that is HORRIBLE! I can't even fathom that. :(--> I could read it was bad, but this is overwhelming.

At this point it would take to much effort to pick them up. So they are still in the seach and rescue. Hospitals are crying out. We need a blood drive like 911 for some. to late for others.
