Balboa! ...of course... I'd have probably gotten around to guessing him eventually... it's just that Cortez and DeGama came to mind more quickly... I did think about Drake but he wasn't a spaniard... and I knew it was a conquistador without looking at your title... I just don't know many of them... I'll have to go read up...
