Tis true, I am a northerner and when I lived in Texas everyone brought that to my attention when I spoke. You don't say POP in the south. I sure liked driving by the Dr.Pepper/Coke plant. I do like Coke the best, then D.P.

Yes - But a Coke is always a Coke - no matter where you go. Ironically enough, the ad in the clue even says :

"Coke means only Coca Cola

and Coca Cola only means Coke"

So that's what I was going on -

MY people would have called that a "soda" - or a "coke"

And FYI - been in Texas over 20 years and I still ask the kids if they want a soda - or if they want a drink.

Off of soapbox now..... Not complaining here Ca Dreaming...just ribbing those Texans...
