Can't sign into chat

I was just there a few days ago but for the past two days I can't sign in. I can't type anything in the sign in box or do anything on that page, like get help.

I know, I know, It's not you it's me.

OK now it lets me connect but it says enter_name_here and logs me on with that as my handle. Then I still can't type anything. Thankfully no one else was in to see my fumbling. Not that they would have know it was me.

I got in the first couple of times as well and now

I get the same thing.... a grey screen, and no place to type.

If it's the Yahoo chats and Yahoo groups that you are having trouble with, here is the problem.

A user group, that was trading in 'CP' ( I.E. Kiddy porn ) wound up in a lawsuit. In turn Yahoo shut down the user created chat rooms, and possibly some of the user group areas also.

Yahoo may go the way of MSN and make people upgrade to the different levels of Email payment to use the chat and user group areas. MSN has had people that are using Hotmail only able to use the pay hotmail to be able to use the chat rooms, has been in effect for about 1 1/2 to 2 years now on msn chat rooms.
