Bringing it back to the top again. I'd recommend to anyone interersted in sound investment ideas to check out Motley Fool (www.fool.com), and look specifically at their subscription newsletters (listed on home page). I'm interested in sharing info, I subscribe to "Hidden Gems," looking for "Rule Breakers" and/or "Stock Advisor".
Hmmmm. I got a Motley Fool free newsletter recently, invested in the 6 rule breaker stocks, and my and Cindy's position has improved better than market almost every day since.
I do read the parts of their site I can get to for free, but by the time they get it on motley fool it's already too late for me. I've been learning to do investing the hard way, which makes me want to take a class on sociology so I can understand it much better.
At this point: looking for current or willing subscribers to "Stock Advisor" and/or "Inside Value" who want to swap with "Hidden Gems" and/or "Rule Breakers".

Sorry, no, motorhead. I looked into it once, but didn't have the time to invest. I hope you find someone to swap info with, though.

I'm a Jim Cramer and Bob Brinker kind of guy.
I took a tip from the fools in a new paper article on Apple and doubled my position.

I have known a few guys who did follow it pretty much as a column in one of the investments magazines.
After advising them on their taxes for a few years, I could never see that the investment advice did them any good.
