Has Jimmy Doop posted somewhere on GS? I sure would like to see it. Jim performed the wedding cerimony for my wife and I back in 1976 and I have always had respect for him.

Jim Doop posted on the "John Lynn Leaves CES" thread (Open Forum) a few days ago. Yes, it has been confirmed that this is the real Jimmy Doop of the former Way West (early 70's).
And, Jim Doop did post here at the GS Cafe forums somewhere, and he spoke of a book that he wrote or was writing about his time in The Way, and with VPW. Has anybody learned any more about his book?

There was a lurker in chat Thursday night with the nickname "Jim Dopp" (see spelling), but he only came, saw and left.
Not sure if that's what you were referring to, Excie, but most probably was not Doop.

I remember Jimmy Dopp. I didnt know him personally but in the 'early' TWI, he was a well-known person.
I think he's mentioned in "The Way Living in Love."
