I'm a lifelong yankee fan and AM rooting for Boston. It makes the defeat more palatable to think that this "was Boston's year." If Boston doesn't win, it's humiliating for the Yanks, the ultimate humiliation losing 4 in a row to a losing team...
Looks like Boston is going to win and the Curse is lifted ... good for them ...

i have 5 brothers who worship at the temple of the bronx
i was talking to one of them last night and asked him who he was rooting for (chuckle) and he said he has not watched one pitch in the series
reminds me of that little ditty about the word fan comes from fanatic.....
