Still Got A Prayer

Reading Kits story of prayer reminded me a song that Billy Falcon did on his CD a few years back. " Pretty Blue World" produced with help from his old Way buddies Ralph G and Joe F of Pressed Down and Jon Bon Jovi and Danny Kortchmar long time George Harrison and John Lennon friend who played session work on many records including Sweet Baby James Taylor . It had a single called Power Windows that got a fair amount of air play. Also on the CD was this song " Still Got A Prayer" a song about hopeless times in life including the death of his wife Myla. Without the music it hardly does the song justice but here are the lyrics.

I really liked that song. It ends with Rose singing the chorus acapella (sp?)

Another one on that same CD is specifically about Myla. It's called "Heaven's Highest Hill."

Rose, by the way, has her own CD out. For those parents among you who had to endure the Disney flick "Inspector Gadget 2," one of the few redeeming qualities is the bubble gum pop song that plays over the end credits. It's called "Up Up Up", and the singer is Rose Falcon. Yep, the same Rose Falcon. Some might see hints of "Knocked Down But Never Been Knocked Out" in the lyrics. I believe Billy wrote them.
