Oh, I don't know. I don't think it's wrong to use an actor twice if he's been in a lot of movies. Nor should it be wrong to re-use a movie, as long as it has different actors. For instance, I would have no problem with
Parenthood -- Steve Martin -- The Jerk being on the same page as Father of the Bride -- Steve Martin -- The Man with Two Brains, or
Steve Martin -- The Jerk -- Bill Macy and Bernadette Peters -- The Jerk -- Emmett Walsh.
I do agree that Steve Martin -- The Jerk -- Bernadette Peters twice (even if one is in reverse order) should be months apart.
I see what you're saying George, but considering how many actors and actresses there are, it's not hard to keep both rules. Otherwise we'll all end up back at A Few Good Men every three turns.

The rule is against sequels to get TO actors that appear in both films. There's no rule against cameos to get to actors that are not in the first movie (ie, even if it were a sequel, it would be okay

Guys,
Please don't link to an actor or movie that has already been linked in the last couple of pages, or certainly on the current page.
I refer to Steve Martin, The Jerk and Bernadette Peters.

I only know Cleavon Little from one other movie.
(Which I was discussing the other day, oddly enough.)
I'm SURE of one other actor from it.
Once Bitten
Jim Carrey
Batman Forever
(But I think it was mean to pull that one...)
