BZZZT!  Sorry- you linked SETH ROGEN to SETH ROGEN. You have "Green Hornet" to Seth Rogen to "Zack and Miri" to "Elizabeth Banks". You need another movie she was in (not Zach and Miri) and a different star other than Banks or Rogen to proceed- and there's more than 1 or 2.Â
Assuming Elizabeth Banks was in the 40 Year Old Virgin, then you don't need another movie of hers, but you need to replace Seth Rogen (Steve Carrell, perhaps) and continue from there.

OK. Now I see what you guys are hinting about.  I spotted Elizabeth Banks in the last post and followed with my post of her in 40 Year Old Virgin (Yes, George, she was in that movie) without noticing that the previous post linking it to Seth Rogen. So, question? What's wrong with that? It's not the same movie. Should it matter then I used the same actor to get to a different movie? I know the answer already. Yes it does. OK.Â

Oh so that's how you can multi-quote. Anyway, I'm confused WordWolf? Is it your play or mine? Meanwhile I am going to look up 40 yr old virgin and investigate some profiles.
B) The problem wasn't the movie, the problem was you doubled back. I linked from Seth Rogen to Elizabeth Banks. You immediately followed up with Elizabeth Banks to Seth Rogen. We can't immediately cross the same movie or the same actor. Even mentioning the same actor on the same PAGE raises an eyebrow (a few moves later). So, you were fine with the movie, but had to link to ANY other actor than Seth Rogen in it, or pick another movie you knew with Elizabeth Banks and another actor (besides "Zack and Miri", of course.) And it goes without saying (but I'll say it anyway in case anyone wants to split hairs) that you can't link to the same actor or movie in the same move, either (so, can't go "Zack and Miri, Seth Rogen, Zack and Miri", for example.)
C) Doing it from memory is the idea, unless the thread is stalled. It's just your turn now. (We look stuff up only to move the thread along.) Otherwise there's no challenge in the links, we'd just look everything up.
Â
We try not to circle back to the same actor (or film) for at least a few rounds. Otherwise, you could pick two actors who work together a lot, and just bounce back between them. I see that WW has replied while I'm typing this, so maybe he's gone ahead, or told you (Human) to do so.

The rule is against sequels to get TO actors that appear in both films. There's no rule against cameos to get to actors that are not in the first movie (ie, even if it were a sequel, it would be okay

Shame if anyone has to goggle the link to Glengarry Glen Ross. Three generations of remarkable actors in it.
