If you get the dvd, there are some great "special features," which talk about how they raised different flocks of birds, training them to be around the sound of the plane, people, cameras, etc.
The camera crew is in a small plane in those avalance scenes. Very Dangerous. Truly an Incredible Journey.
What a great way to spend some time -- making a film of such proportions.
There's a DVD? Can I get it from Amazon or something?
2Life tipped me to this, but I have never actually seen it. Just the trailer, which soothes the savage beast I sometimes want to become while at work! ;)-->

I saw that this weekend Kit, It is an amazing piece of work! I wondered throughout exactly how it was filmed...some extraordinary and unique views.
I wouldnt suggest it to people who want action movies, but it is agreat way to kickback for an evening and be amazed.

I found it at the video store across the street.
I don't look at birds the same way after seeing the movie -- it builds compassion and respect for their life-style.
And I certainly don't think I could ever eat duck again.
