I bought the DVD for ROTK at Sam's Club yesterday when I was grocery shopping. So, I started the long journey of watching one DVD a night from the EEs of the first two, and should be able to watch ROTK on Sunday.
That reminds me MasterP "the long journey"... last week I got "Gods and Generals" and "Gettysburg"... guess I'll have to start that trek...
How many hours is all that together? I remember Gettysburg being extremely long, but I haven't seen Gods and Generals, although I bought it as a gift for someone else.
I didn't catch Gettysburg when it was on TNT. I was one of the few who went to see 'Gods and Generals' in the theaters... I love Civil War movies when they're well made and this one was... even though G&G was made after Gettysburg, it is the prequel... it's a great movie that lays all the groundwork and ends right before the battle of Gettysburg...

Hope R.
I bought the theatrical version today - I couldn't resist - it was only $14.99 at Target. Don't want to wait to see it again until November.
I'll probably buy the ee as well and give this one away, or keep it.
Oh, I was planning on waiting for the big trilogy release, too - and will more than likely purchase that as well. EEK - I've been GEEKED!

Gettysburg is the better film, by a good margin.
