Mike
. I thought I’d come here just to get a feel for what it will be like when I’m banished to the Doctrinal forum. :D--> Actually, I DO have a genuine tech question. When the new upgrade at GreaseSpot took effect a week or so ago, I immediately noticed that I can no longer save GreaseSpot pages in the .mht format on Microsoft’s Internet Explorer. After 50% is saved, it aborts and says I can't save this file to that location. The .mht format is very convenient in that it saves the entire page into one file. In MS Internet Explorer the saving options are: -- Web Page, complete (*.htm, *.html) – but this is a file PLUS an associated folder with many other files. -- Web Archive, single file (*.mht) – I like this the best -- Web Page, HTML only (*.htm, *.html) – messes up apostrophes, quotes, and screen width -- Text File (*.txt) – this also messes up apostrophes and quotes, and it’s blandness is harder to read. If the .mht single file cannot be fixed, is there a way to adjust the second option I mentioned above? This format, Web Page HTML only, is very inconvenient with it’s wide screen width and messed up quotes.
