Oral Roberts first did the Red Thread. At first, from what I've heard, docvic(praise be his name) gave credit to Oral for it, but then after a very short time, acted as if he wrote it himself.
Well, House, I do a little thing called "search for all new posts since your last visit". It puts them all in a list for me, to make it real easy to keep up on everything that's happened in the last 20 min . . .er, coupla days since I last checked.
At the top of the screem, click on "find", then "new since your last visit".
WordWolf, at risk of assumption I think you're referring to this "And not that I would want to do a study of it but wouldn't it be interesting to see if there is a Red Thread (so to speak) of Satan in every book of the Bible."
And I agree about the work required. As well, it could be a bummer to focus on the subject matter for long periods of time for myself. But I may yet tackle it someday. :)-->
Geo, are you sure about "The Fourth Man" by Oral Roberts being the same as "The Red Thread"? I thought "The Fourth Man" was only about Shadrach, Meschach and Abdegneo in the fiery furnace. Did it go on to include the red thread stuff?
"The Fourth Man" was played during the Advanced Class when I took it in 1977 and, to me, it was incredibly powerful and stirring. And I thought the same about "The Red Thread." I remember them as two separate Oral Roberts sermons--but then again, I do lapse into CRS from time to time!
I remember LCM mentioning work he had done on a "black thread" of sons of Belial throughout the Bible. Give him a call. I'm sure he's be glad to share his insights. ;)-->
You couldn't have known, so please no apology necessary. And nice to meet you as well. But I'm still not calling LCM, although somewhat intriguing, but certainly not happening. :)-->

Oral Robert's teaching was called "The Fourth Man", and is still available from O.R. University for anyone who's interested...

I'm amazed anyone even noticed this thread with all the activity over in 'Open'.
But George when I peeked in here and saw you had posted it brought a smile to my heart. I like you, you old curmudgeon you.
Thanks guys for your time. Things to attend to...later!

I think other people have done stuff with it SINCE Oral Roberts, but I
don't have any links offhand.
I think the initial question is a good one, and I'm hoping someone with some
time on their hands will tackle it before me.
(If not, there will be a LONG wait.)

George is correct, Linda.
Here's an mp3. It would be better without the background music but you might still like it.

Thanks, Long Gone. It's been more than 20 years since I heard it, so I thought I might not be remembering correctly.
