Okay, Ohio. This is your chance to redeem yourselves.
:)-->
I was family WOW in Toledo 85. (Not twi's best year---not Ohio's best year, either!) By November we had 7 kids, 3 Moms and 2 single gals. It was all over by Christmas, when I moved my boys to Dayton. Left Dayton fall of 87 for Greenville SC.
So drop me a line and say Howdy! This means you, Fred!
hey wendy jo allen, I was in findlay ohio which is near toledo and before that I was in greenville south carolina. All different years from you. I loved greenville and wished I would have stayed.
Sorry to get away from the subject but just had to post this.
Ok!! I will not try to be a nice person...ok? I will not!!
I work in downtown Columbus - how come I never see any ex-way people during my meanderings down High Street and cutting through CitiCenter to the parking garage?
I'm in Ohio, too, just east of Cleveland. I was in Columbus (OSU--college WOW, yada, yada), 1975-77. Since his name came up, Larry Shicks was in the neighborhood. Great times mostly during those early years, but it was hell on my GPA.
quote:Submitted by Elijah List Reader, Linda Dodson
The Ohio state motto is: "With God, all things are possible."
Just this past March 16th, Jay Sekulow of the ACLJ successfully won a court case and a 9-4 ruling that the motto was Constitutional. In
1997, former Governor George Voinovich, now a U.S. Senator, had the motto engraved in the front of the Ohio statehouse walkway in Columbus. The motto is also reportedly used on tax forms and on some official stationery.
The motto was adopted in 1959 at the suggestion
of a schoolboy in Cincinnati after he learned that Ohio was the only U.S. state without an official motto.

I think I saw a guy doing that once - he's ex-TWI?
I just think, with all the people, I would have run into someone over the last few years.

I finally wandered into this forum...Nobody has posted here for about a year, so I thought I would "revive it".
I'm just south east of Columbus...The great city of Lancaster...been here for 3 years now and have no plans of leaving.
I wonder how many of us Greasespotters live in Ohio?...
