We sold it in 1987 before we moved. He wanted it as his surf mobile.........
How about the Halloween costume party at my house, all you guys in your togas! Just in time for Oenophiles birthday.
Hmm, my long term memorie is working pretty good . To many things to bring up here.
That's a shame, but sometimes our toys have to go.
Sure wish I could attend the Halloween party.....and celebrate Oenophiles birthday...........I'll have to ask him if he remembers the nervous time we spent in OakCliff with the guy that thought he was Rocky Balboa.
I remember the toga party. And the keg party at some rock quarry? with a fire and all us Wows partying heartily as unto the Lord?
Funny, I don't remember the toga party....... The keg party was held at lake Ray Hubbard............I remember we didn't always do things the TWI way though.

Hello all!!! I remember Oenophile, Jim Wood, CA Dreaming, and Exxie from the WOW year. I lived near you, CA Dreaming, and drove a 1961 Dodge Pioneer. Could fit four COMFORTABLY in the cavernous back seat.
I'm not sure how I missed the keg party at the end of the WOW year . . . I was probably there but just don't remember.
I decided to take some time "off" today and somehow ended up in GSC. What a fun place! Have enjoyed reading several pages of this thread, where you planned and pulled off the 2006 Texas BBQ. Got a kick out of your various definitions/descriptions of authentic Texas BBQ.
I live near St. Louis, am single-again (AKA divorced), have two AWESOME daughters. TEach high school English, am working on becoming a reading specialist. Am playing a fair amount of music, (gigging makes nice part time job and gives me an excuse to play every day) and have managed to write (maybe) a CD's worth of children's music . . .
