Niki, the weather is usually in the mid 40's to mid 50's. Brr, just need to have a sweater along with yourself here. And I hope the honeymoon never stops but it sure is great having a mate as life is much more manageble. The rule in the kitchen is the cook never cleans up oh I don't cook.
Niki, why is it that when you get 65% of the cleaning done and you come back to the completed part while making your rounds, someone has reclaimed the part you just straightened? And what's with clean horizontal surfaces? These are magnets for laundry or anything else. I sometimes vow to never have any horizontal surfaces in my mansion in glory when I walk the streets of gold.
the martha stewart producers called our dear martha (sheehan) stewart. she is going on the show on sept. 20th. that's when they are taping it. but i don't know if that's when they are airing it
i hope she shares about putting her cig out in the dish
Hello, this is a shout-out to my MAN the snowcone meister, and to Excie (how'd it go, anyway? you okay?) and Fellowshipper (g'day, mate!) and SimonRockyEverybodyElse. This has been quite a week; I'm finishing the home organization, writing syllabai which have to be implemented next week already (summer is quickly becoming a fading memory) and nearly drowning in Scuba class; spent half the night in the emergency room, coughing up water (had a major stupid attack, paid for it, 'nuff said).
Can't dive with noseclips; they'd make it impossible to equalize or clear the mask. I just have to learn the skill. I'm medically prohibited from diving for a week, and then must go and practise.
I'm trying for the standard open-water certification; when we go and visit Down Under, I surely want to get a gander at that little old reef they have down there!
Niki I would love to go in the water now but it is winter going into spring here.
Today was the first day working in the Aussie society and Aussies are so laid back like I have never seen & ironically they have high standards but still laid back.

Never have bought anything from QVC or HSN/C... what a wonderful bunch of kids you have there... and the oldest must be incredibly smart, going to the University of Chicago! :)

Oh... (((((((Karmicdebt))))))), I'm SOOOOOO sorry. It is most understandable that you would feel that way.

OK... after doing the hedge trimming and other yardwork yesterday afternoon I'm ready to declare:
"It's OFFICIALLY HOT again."
...but it's winter in the land down under? is that correct?

Maybe when Fellowshipper comes back from his apparently extended honeymoon, he can tell us what the weather's like down under!
Cooler going full blast at the niKapad.

Here am I . . . Determined not to start the school year with a disorganized house; it's 65% done, and I'm hardly even checking e-mail right now.
I'll call you when I get there!
love, niKa

Shipper, are you working in the same field? Are there any differences in the work environments, rules, dress, etc., between the USA and Australia?
Good on ya, yerself, mate.
