Sorry I'm late in responding, but you were right of course. Crystal Blue Persuasion. I thought that one would be a little difficult, but your good dude!
In the tradition of "Who's Line", I'm giving Bluzeman 12 points for the
album.
Go, Bluzeman!
Gee, thanks! :)
I'm working at a clients location(remote desktop is GREAT!) so I may not be able to check in for a while. So if you know you know it, then name it and post a new one.
Welcome to my Nightmare, Alice Cooper. From the album with the same name. I bought it as soon as it came out when I was a sophomore in high school, so it must have been 75 or 76. Good song!
When I was around 25, I was given a python that was about the same size as the one Alice Cooper used(although mine wasn't albino). I had him for about 2 years until I had to move and couldn't take him with me. Snakes can be really cool pets. Mine liked to have his "chin" rubbed. :)

Don't know the title but then I never did like the stones to much. unless it was covered by Flying Burrito brothers also which would make it dead flowers but I think that's another song.

When he looks down
On every green field
And every town
All of his children
And every nation
They'll be peace and good brotherhood

Since waysider has catapulted us back to the days of peace and love lets try this one:
Well no one told me about her, the way she lied
Well no one told me about her, how many people cried
But it's too late to say you're sorry
How would I know, why should I care
Please don't bother tryin' to find her..........

"SHE'S NOT THERE."
The Zombies.
(Not to be confused with Rob Zombie.)
Is it my imagination, or is this one of those songs with a harmonica in it?

Ok, I checked and I'm right.
I was going to bring us a lot more current, but the whiplash would be painful,
so I'm not making such a big jump.

Did you get a little gold?
What did you bring me, my dear friends,"

Hangman, hangman, hold it a little while
Good tune! That's Gallows pole by Led Zepplin.
Do I get extra credit for knowing it was on Led Zepplin III ? :)

Correct!
I've thought about using that one on and off since I posted
"the Immigrant Song."
Those of you who forgot what song that is should turn your sound on

If I had my way
She'd be back today
But she don't intend
To see me again, Ooh-Ooh
What can I do
'Cause I-I-I-I-I'm feelin' blue

I blew in town a week ago
I ain't seen a lotta girls since then
If I could find 'em I could get 'em
But as yet I haven't met 'em
That's why I'm in the shape I'm in.
The original, please.

Actually, it's not Baby's in Black, or the Beatles. :) I can see why you confused them though!
But go ahead with yours for now!
And I only know one version of yours and I couldn't tell you who it was that did it!

We sweat and laugh and scream here

"Memphis, Tennessee." The version I remember was by Johnny Rivers, though Chuck Berry might have done it earlier.
