Next song:
And he likes his own backyard,
And he likes his fags the best,
'Cause he's better than the rest,
And his own sweat smells the best,
And he hopes to grab his father's loot,
When Pater passes on.
"And he's oh, so good, and he's oh, so fine. And he's oh, so healthy in his body and his mind. He's a Well-Respected Man-About-Town doing the best things so conservatively."
"You know my temperature's rising
The jukebox blowing a fuse
My heart's beating rhythm
And my soul keep a-singing the blues."
Â
"Well, early in the morning I'm giving you my warning
Don't you step on my new shiny shoes
Hey diddle diddle, I'ma play my fiddle
Ain't got nothing to lose."
I would have thought either Chuck Berry or the Beatles, but I'll trust that ELO also covered it.
You're up.
George
Yes, ELO had a very successful cover.
Â
Although I'm not making plans
I hope that you understand there's a reason why
(Close your, close your, close your eyes)
No more broken hearts
We're better off apart, let's give it a try
If I could turn the page
In time then I'd rearrange just a day or two
Close my, close my, close my eyes
But I couldn't find a way
So I'll settle for one day to believe in you

Okay then, just a few tidbits to add that may help you out. It's a beautifyl artist singing lead vocals. She actually just passed away.

I'm sure I've heard it. Wouldn't have remembered the title, though.

The Fleetwood Mac artist who recently passed away was Christine McVey.  Founder Mick Fleetwood stated that I'm paraphrasing, "never say never, but Fleetwood Mac is done", after her passing. If anyone wasn't aware about Fleetwood Mac as of late, lead guitarist and vocalist Lindsey Buckingham was fired from Fleetwood Mac in 2018 and replaced by former Tom Petty & Heartbreakers lead guitarist Mike Campbell. So I guess they are through. Both Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers and, Fleetwood Mac for years have extensively toured and have been playing music for nearly 50 years. Kinda unfathomable if you think about it.
New tune:
If you want someone to love you
Pretty baby make it me
It's not much I'm asking of you
Just try me and you'll see
Baby, can't you see
That I'm a desperate man
I get high, just thinkin' about you

Don't know the title but then I never did like the stones to much. unless it was covered by Flying Burrito brothers also which would make it dead flowers but I think that's another song.

My guess is that didn't help anyone. I wonder whether anyone had an idea who the group was? It's ~Fleetwood Mac. Little Lies
