I'm going to post another. I'm changing boats upstream. Not that familiar song.
So sad, so sad Sometimes she feels so sad Alone in her apartment she'd dwell Till the man of her dreams come to break the spell Ah, stay, don't stand her up And he comes and he stays but he leaves the next day So sad Sometimes she feels so sad

Didn't I say yes to this post [last week]????? Yes, yes,yes ,yes, yes. The song John mocked Paul in was "How Do You Sleep" on his Imagine album. Referring back to their Beatle days John says, "The only thing you done was "Yesterday" And since you're gone you're just "Another day". They were butting heads at that time.
Fleeting but I'm not getting it George. Must be something like early 70's or late 60's right? And BTW, George have you ever heard the song "Another Day" or do you remember it or for that matter WordWolf?

I had heard it. Some of the lines I could "hear" in my head.
The current song is from the early 70's.

Don't know the title but then I never did like the stones to much. unless it was covered by Flying Burrito brothers also which would make it dead flowers but I think that's another song.

I know that last line is a verse from ~Magic~ a 1970's song but the rest of the lyrics isn't the same.

If you were correct about the title, do you know who the artist of that song would be?
(It would STILL not be "Sully" Sullenberger.)

A short name something like ~Pilot~. That can't be the title can it?

Congratulations, Human, you correctly named the song title- "Magic"- and the song artist- "Pilot."

You probably only remember the chorus, but I quoted the non-chorus parts of the song.
Your turn.

I can't stop thinking of you
If you go I'll know I cry
Can't you see that I'm a desperate man
I can hide, just being around
You want to know
What they say about the bird in my hand

That first part seems pretty familiar, but I'm not getting it.
I'm afraid my memory just isn't what it used to be.

One X-Beatle made a song mocking the other X-Beatles' song which is this.

We're Beatle fans (the Wolf family is, at least), but we, apparently, aren't hardcore enough to know the song you posted.

Nibbling on bacon
Chewing on cheese
Sam says to Suzie
Honey, would you please be my Mrs
Suzie says yes with her kisses
Now, he's tickling her fancy
Rubbing her toes
Muzzle to muzzle
Now anything goes as they wriggle
Sue starts to giggle

It wasn't their biggest hit (by a long shot); but it did pretty well.

*checks* I've heard of the artists. I've heard OF this song. I'd never recognize it nor connect it to the artists.

Hint: Sam and Suzie are rodents (but not rats or mice). Love kept them together.
