Battleships confide in me and tell me where you are, Shining, flying, purple wolfhound, show me where you are, Lost in summer, morning, winter, travel very far, Lost in musing circumstances, that's just where you are
I presume that these lyrics are from the same song?
Battleships confide in me and tell me where you are, Shining, flying, purple wolfhound, show me where you are, Lost in summer, morning, winter, travel very far, Lost in musing circumstances, that's just where you are
Death defying, mutilated armies scatter the earth, Crawling out of dirty holes, their morals, Their morals disappear
Yesterday a morning came, a smile upon your face Caesar's palace, morning glory, silly human race, On a sailing ship to nowhere, leaving any place,
Battleships confide in me and tell me where you are, Shining, flying, purple wolfhound, show me where you are, Lost in summer, morning, winter, travel very far, Lost in musing circumstances, that's just where you are
Death defying, mutilated armies scatter the earth, Crawling out of dirty holes, their morals, Their morals disappear
What did you do there? - I got high What did you feel there? - Well I cried But why the tears there? - I'll tell you why - yyyyy It's all too beautiful, It's all too beautiful It's all too beautiful, It's all too beautiful
Â
feel inclined to blow my mind Get hung up, feed the ducks with a bun They all come out to groove about Be nice and have fun in the sun
Â
I'd like to go there now with you You can miss out school - Won't that be cool Why go to learn the words of fools?
I can hear the whiney voice singing "It's all too beautiful," but I can't think of the title or performer.

Not too long ago I was watching a youtube video on Roku of this band playing this song. My 92 year old mother happened to be there and she loved it because the singer could play guitar, sing, and dance all at the same time. I didn't tell her what the lyrics meant, though.
Over Bridges of Sighs To rest my eyes in shades of green
Under Dreaming Spires To (TITLE OF SONG), that's where I've been

Human without the bean, you are correct. Itchykoo Park was a nickname for Little Ilford Park in London. The park had a flower called the stinging nettle which burned the skin if touched hence the reason Londoners nicknamed it itchycoo.
Well its like I said George I had another song in my head that I was thinking it was. And why I am having to defend myself? So if I can calculate this right it took something like just 24 hrs. to get this song. Is that too long? Its to late tonight to post a new one but I will have one up next day. George I know you were just poking fun at me. I get it. Â
The wild dogs cry out in the night As they grow restless longing for some solitary company I know that I must do what's right Sure as Kilimanjaro rises like Olympus above the Serengeti
I seek to cure what's deep inside Frightened of this thing that I've become

I hear the drums echoing tonight But she hears only whispers of some quiet conversation She's coming in 12: 30 flight The moonlit wings reflect the stars that guide me towards salvation
The wild dogs cry out in the night As they grow restless longing for some solitary company I know that I must do what's right Sure as Kilimanjaro rises like Olympus above the Serengeti
I seek to cure what's deep inside Frightened of this thing that I've become

Don't know the title but then I never did like the stones to much. unless it was covered by Flying Burrito brothers also which would make it dead flowers but I think that's another song.

Once beneath the stars, the universe was ours. Love was all we knew, and all I knew was you. I wonder where you are, I wonder if you think about me Once upon a time, IN YOUR WILDEST DREAMS. It mig

Ah. I don't know what makes them "progressive," but I recognize the bands. Definitely in my time frame. Still don't know the song, though.

Ok, I think it's time to retire this one. The name of the song is "Yours is no Disgrace" by Yes.

I like Yes, but I really don't know a lot of their songs well, at least to name the lyrics.
Going to post another song? Â

Think it was in my mind as another song but it wasn't. So in that case this would be Itchycoo Park, by Small Faces.
