There's a story in my eyes Turn the pages of desire Now it's time to trade those dreams For the rush of passion's fire
I can feel you tremble when we touch And I feel the hand of fate Reaching out to both of us
I've been holding back the night I've been searching for a clue from you I'm gonna try with all my might To make this story line come true Can ya feel me tremble when we touch Can ya feel the hand of fate Reaching out to both of us This love affair can't wait
... I'm on the edge ... You voice explodes inside my head ... I won't back down Girl it's too late to turn back now
Another shooting star goes by And in the night the silence speaks to you and I And now the time has come at last Don't let the moment run too fast
I can feel you tremble when we touch And I feel the hand of fate reaching out to both of us There's a story in my eyes, turn the pages of desire Now it's time to trade those dreams For the rush of passion's fire
....
The only thing I left out was the title and repeats of the chorus.
I actually miss those cheezy 80's pop rock tunes. Some friends of mine when I was in middle school were in a band and played one of Survivor's other songs titled " Eye of the Tiger" at the school's talent show. This one I believe is called Can't Hold Back.

I had the right decade and the right hair, but I wasn't on to this song until now. If info is correct, it's their turn.
If so, your turn to post song lyrics. Since you're giving the clues, you should look them up online to make sure you have them correct (or find them.)
Usually, I put the word "lyrics" in quotes, followed by the name of the song in quotes, followed by the band name in quotes. Then I get a bunch of sites with the lyrics, like lyrics az, genius, metrolyrics, etc. I use whatever's easiest at that moment.
You can start with the harder lyrics to guess, then get easier. We have to guess without looking it up. If we look it up, we're disqualified.

haha...the big hair days when the guys spent as much time (and hairspray) on their hair as the girls. LOL.
Here's one from a much simpler time when music was fun.
I got no deeds to do, no promises to keep I'm dappled and drowsy and ready to sleep Let the morningtime drop all its petals on me

Don't know the title but then I never did like the stones to much. unless it was covered by Flying Burrito brothers also which would make it dead flowers but I think that's another song.

Next song.
"Toe to toe.
Dancing very close.
Barely breathing.
Almost comatose.
Wall to wall.
People hypnotized.
And they're stepping lightly"

Sacroiliac
Spineless movement
And a wild attack
Face to face
Sadly solitude
And it's finger popping
Twenty-four hour shopping in.."

Not in the least familiar sounding to me. Must have been before my time.

Actually, "Back to back, sacroiliac" DOES sound familiar, but not enough.

That's it.
Unless something changed, the only "rap" song VH1 ever plays. I was about to post some huge text blocks from when she speeds up.

I think the actual title is something like the 59th Street Bridge Song, but no one calls it that.

There are more posts on this thread in the last 8 hours than in the last 3 weeks, (I'm exaggerating, of course).
