"As the riders loped on by him he heard one call his name.
'If you wanna save your soul from hell a-ridin on our range,
Then cowboy change your ways today or with us you will ride
Tryin to catch the devil's herd across these endless skies."
"Their faces gaunt, their eyes were blurred
Their shirts all soaked with sweat.
He's ridin hard to catch that herd
But he ain't caught em yet.
Cause they got to ride forever in that range up in the sky
On horses snortin fire as they ride on hear their cries."
"As the riders loped on by him he heard one call his name. 'If you wanna save your soul from hell a-ridin on our range, Then cowboy change your ways today or with us you will ride Tryin to catch the devil's herd across these endless skies."
"An old cowboy went ridin out one dark and windy day
Upon a ridge he rested as he went along his way.
When all at once a mighty herd of red-eyed cows he saw
Plowin through the ragged skies and up a cloudy draw.
Their brands were still on fire and their hooves were made of steel.
Their horns were black and shiny and their hot breath he could feel.
A bolt of fear went through him as they thundered through the sky-
For he saw the riders comin hard and he heard their mournful cries.
Their faces gaunt, their eyes were blurred
Their shirts all soaked with sweat
He's ridin hard to catch that herd
But he ain't caught em yet
Cause they got to ride forever in that range up in the sky
On horses snortin fire as they ride on hear their cries

"Well I do my best to understand dear
But you still mystify and I want to know why
I pick myself up off the ground
To have you knock me back down, again and again
And when I ask you to explain, you say"
"Oh I can't take another heartache
Though you say you're my friend, I'm at my wit's end
You say your love is bonafide, but that don't coincide
With the things that you do
And when I ask you to be nice, you say"
"Well I do my best to understand dear But you still mystify and I want to know why I pick myself up off the ground To have you knock me back down, again and again And when I ask you to explain, you say"

You may have heard it walkin' around Walmart or you're local grocery store. It's a spoof song designed to make fun of the record company because these artists were told to sound "more commercial". I know you can buy the name of the song at both stores.
"Cat's in the Cradle" by Harry Chapin (a song that always gets me misty).
Goodbye to you my trusted friend
We've known each other since we were nine or ten
Together we've climbed hills and trees
Learned of love and ABC's
Skinned our hearts and skinned our knees
Goodbye to you my trusted friend
We've known each other since we were nine or ten
Together we've climbed hills and trees
Learned of love and ABC's
Skinned our hearts and skinned our knees
Goodbye my friend it's hard to die
When all the birds are singing in the sky
Now that spring is in the air
Pretty girls are everywhere
Think of me and I'll be there
She bent down and turned around and gave me a wink
She said "I'm gonna make it up right here in the sink"
It smelled like turpentine, it looked like Indian ink
I held my nose, I closed my eyes, I took a drink

Don't know the title but then I never did like the stones to much. unless it was covered by Flying Burrito brothers also which would make it dead flowers but I think that's another song.

Once beneath the stars, the universe was ours. Love was all we knew, and all I knew was you. I wonder where you are, I wonder if you think about me Once upon a time, IN YOUR WILDEST DREAMS. It mig

Ok, that song was covered by a bunch of artists, and appeared in "Blues Brothers 2000."
It's "Ghost Riders in the Sky- A Cowboy Legend" (or variations on that title.)
It's been covered by Jiohnny Cash, Dean Martin, Roy Clark, REM, the Dixie Chicks, the Tubes,
Christopher Lee, Deborah Harry, Peter Paul & Mary, Tom Jones, Burl Ives.....

Newer song from 8 or 9 years now.
They say I need some Rogaine to put in my hair
Workin' it out at the gym to fit my underwear
Oakley make s the shades that transforms that tool
You'd hate for the kids to think you lost you're cool

Well he came from college just the other day
So much like a man I just had to say
"Son I'm proud of you "Can you sit for awhile"?
He shook his head and said with a smile
"What I'd really like Dad is to borrow the car keys
See you later, can I have them please"?

Am I? OK.
Let's see, let's see, let's see
The sun shines,.. and people forget
The spray flies as the speed boat glides
And people forget...forget their hiding
The girls smile....and people forget
The snow packs as the skier tracks
And people forget
