I made my guess of the title earlier ("Vampire for Your Love"). I thought that you OKed that, so I was guessing at the artist form you "Dinosaur, Sr." clue.
You have an artist, want to take a shot at the song?
Or is this some sort of drive-by?
I know we're a bit off-road from what we normally do,
but I think you can name it.
Yes we are. :offtopic:/>
Isn't that name of a tune by the group ~Train~? Drive BY Ha Ha

Don't know the title but then I never did like the stones to much. unless it was covered by Flying Burrito brothers also which would make it dead flowers but I think that's another song.

Since you named the artist, you can have the round.
I was trying to keep dropping hints about the song title-
"JEEPSTER."

Whole song with title or partial title redacted:
Let me tell you 'bout a place
Somewhere up-a New York way
Where the people are so gay
REDACT
Here they have a lot of fun
Puttin' trouble on the run
Man, you find the old and young
REDACT
They're REDACT
Everybody's feelin' great
They're REDACT
They're REDACT
Here's a man in evening clothes
How he got here, I don't know, but
Man, you oughta see him go
REDACT
He's dancin' with a chick in slacks
She's movin' up and back
Oh, man, there ain't nothin' like
REDACT
They're REDACT
Everybody's feelin' great
They're REDACT
They're REDACT
Let's REDACT a while
Lean up
Lean back
Lean up
Lean back

Now fly
Now REDACT
REDACT
Here's a fella in blue jeans
Dancin' with an older queen
Who's dolled up in her diamond rings and
REDACT
Man, you oughta see her go
REDACT to the rock and roll
Here you find the young and old
REDACT
They're REDACT, man
Everybody's feelin' great
They're REDACT
REDACT
One more time
Lean up
Lean back

Last hint before I throw in the towel: Sam Cooke is the artist. (I think Rod Stewart did a cover many years later.)

For the record, sometime during my life I have heard this song.
However, I could not identify it even to save my life.

Here's one:
I wanna tell you about the girl I love
My she looks so fine
She's the only one I've been dreamin' of
Maybe someday she will be all mine
I want to tell her that I love her so
I thrill with her every touch
I need to tell her she's the only one I really love

I think the artist is "Led Zepellin."
A lot of the time, I can recognize songs of theirs but can't give their titles
because I have no idea about the titles.
In this case, it should make naming the song easier...if I'm correct.

It is Led Zeppelin. I may have done this one last year. The song was the only non-album track during Led Zeppelin's career.
I really didn't know the title to the track until I started searching for it...that was a few years ago now.
Here's a couple more lines.
A got a woman, she won't be true, no no
A got a woman, wanna ball all day *[ oh my! what will the sensors do?]
I got a woman, stay drunk all the time
I got a little woman and she won't be true
( ___ ___ ____ ___ _ __)
Listen closely can you hear the name of the tune?

Hurry now and don't be late 'cause we ain't got time to chat.
You and me, we're goin' out to catch the latest sounds.
Guaranteed to blow your mind so high, you won't come down, no."

You've got it.
The band was "the Spinners" ("the Detroit Spinners" for UK releases.)

That's embarrassing, ~The Spinner's~ of course.
Choose yourself a partner
From the middle of the floor
Blow a little kiss
To the woman next door
Step on the gas
Put your head in the air
make a "V" sign
And you throw back your hair
Put your hand on your hip
Now you let your back bone slip
Put out your tongue
Put your head in the air
Make a "V" sign
And you just don't care
Bragging rights if you (anyone) can get this one!

All Gods children got some soul
You don't have to think
you don't have to move a muscle
To do the brow beating, heavy, leather,

It seems slightly familiar, but that may be that just some of the lyrics are like those of other songs.

Well you did bite on it anyway, by commenting George. Usually silence is a response that means no one has a clue.
I'll give it a little while longer for now.
