doojable
Just FYI,I could have gotten it from the 3pm post, but I wasn't logged in until about 12 hours later and you'd already voided the clue... Sorry WW - but it had been nearly a day and a half - and I figured I was ticking folks off...

WordWolf
In the interest of moving this along, I'll cede the turn, since that's the closest I'm getting to a correct answer. The song is Willy deVille's "Storybook Love". IIRC, it was covered by Mark Knopfler (of Dire Straits) at the end of "the Princess Bride." The melody, BTW, is played a number of times in the background of the story- it almost serves as a theme song for Wesley and Buttercup. =========== Come my love I'll tell you a tale, Of a boy and girl and their love story.
