It is Shania Twain. From the title, you'd expect a man to be singing it, that's what made me chuckle so hearing the lyrics from the woman's point of view. Here's the lyrics. Bet you can guess the title from them.

The car won't start-it's falling apart
I was late for work and the boss got smart
My pantyline shows-got a run in my hose
My hair went flat-man, I hate that
Just when I thought things couldn't get worse
I realized I forgot my purse
With all this stress-I must confess
This could be worse than PMS
This job ain't worth the pay
Can't wait 'til the end of the day
Honey, I'm on my way
Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey!
Honey, I'm home and I had a hard day
Pour me a cold one and oh, by the way
Rub my feet, gimme something to eat
Fix me up my favorite treat
Honey, I'm back, my head's killing me
I need to relax and watch TV
Get off the phone-give the dog a bone
Hey! Hey! Honey, I'm home!
I broke a nail opening the mail
I cursed out loud 'cause it hurt like hell
This job's a pain-it's so mundane
It sure don't stimulate my brain
This job ain't worth the pay
Can't wait 'til the end of the day
Honey, I'm on my way
Hey! Hey! Hey! Hey!
Honey, I'm home and I had a hard day
Pour me a cold one and oh, by the way
Rub my feet, gimme something to eat
Fix me up my favorite treat
Honey, I'm back, my head's killing me
I need to relax and watch TV
Get off the phone-give the dog a bone
Hey! Hey! Honey, I'm home!
Oh, rub my neck will you
Honey, I'm home and I had a hard day
Pour me a cold one and oh, by the way
Rub my feet, gimme something to eat
Fix me up my favorite treat
Honey, I'm back, my head's killing me
I need to relax and watch TV
Get off the phone-give the dog a bone
Hey! Hey! Honey, I'm home!
I'm home, that feels much better

Was my guess right then? Just in case it was. . .
new tune:
You jump in front of my car when you, you know all the time
Title is actually, "Honey, I'm Home". As no one guessed it, I'm glad to posted new lyrics. Not familiar to me, though, Wing. Sure someone else can guess it.

Thanks, PurpleDays.
I was kinda hoping you'd get it, though, seeing as how your new name sort of led me back to this artist's work. . .
You jump in front of my car when you, you know all the time
that ninety miles an hour girl, is the speed I drive,
you tell me it's alright, you don't mind a little pain. . .

Don't know the title but then I never did like the stones to much. unless it was covered by Flying Burrito brothers also which would make it dead flowers but I think that's another song.

Something like "Give me give me good loving?" No idea who the artist is, though.

Good guess, but incorrect.
Don't know who all may have recorded this. I'm familiar with it from a female country singer.

I thought this was a gimme...
Some people I know argue that this is the best song ever (which I don't agree with)
And one of the best lead guitarists ever (which I do agree with).

Perhaps some advice for us twi survivors:
"Jump up, look around, find yourself some fun,
no sense in sitting there hating everyone.
No man's an island and his castle isn't home,
the nest is for nothing when the bird has flown.''

The artist is Jethro Tull, but I don't know the name of the song,
even though I've mulled it over for a day.
I know it was quite a popular song, and I've got the melody and some of the lyrics,
but I just can't grasp the lyrics that would tell me the name.
And then I think, I have never known the name of this song.
So, the artist is as far as I can take it.
