Tom Strange
that's the right song... however it was written by Jagger/Richards and was on 'Sticky Fingers'... in 71? but you're right about it being 'Dead Flowers'...
bfh
Tom is right. Dead Flowers is on "Sticky Fingers" and was released in 1971 by the Rolling Stones. But, both of you have the title correct. So, who goes? I guess Tom, since he had the overall correct information? I'm not real sure about the "rules" in such a situation. Help! WordWolf
Usual rule, is naming a COVER of a song is perfectly acceptable, so long as the artist DID perform the song. Thus, when I posted "Little Red Riding Hood", a poster correctly named it, along with the artist Sam the Sham. If he's named the artist as "Bowling for Soup", I would have accepted it also, since they did a cover of the song. So, if Guns N Roses did a cover, then Sharon was the first to answer with correct title and artist.

Don't know the title but then I never did like the stones to much. unless it was covered by Flying Burrito brothers also which would make it dead flowers but I think that's another song.
