Okay, I admit it. I didn't read all the rules and regs. It's 143 pages long.... Anyway, I'm free from the law and I'm sticking to it. Honestly, does this site lay dormant for days or did I screw up and get to out there? I can easily change it. Just let me know.

Don't know the title but then I never did like the stones to much. unless it was covered by Flying Burrito brothers also which would make it dead flowers but I think that's another song.

Once beneath the stars, the universe was ours. Love was all we knew, and all I knew was you. I wonder where you are, I wonder if you think about me Once upon a time, IN YOUR WILDEST DREAMS. It mig

Hmmmmmmm
Has a "50s" kinda ring to it.
Sounds remotely familiar.
I'll have to kick it around in my head for a while.

another hint
They say for every boy and girl
There's just one love in this whole world
And I know I've found mine
The heavenly touch of your embrace
Tells me no one could take your place
Ever in my heart
Just one kiss from your sweet lips,
Will tell me that your love is real,
And I, I, I can fe-el that it's true.
We will vow to one another,
There will never be another,
Lo-ve for you, or for me.

Hey there Bulwinkl
My Dad worked nights as a bartender back in the late '50s.
This one used to get a fair amount of play on the jukebox, along with Patsy Cline, Jim Reeves and Hank Sr.
I agree, though, it's sappy!!!!

sappy yes but some consider it the first crossover hit from country to rock/pop

Yeah, I see your point.
It was a big hit in Country and Pop at the same time.
Did I mention it's sappy? :)

Hi there, Mr. Moose
I've been kinda hogging these lately.
Plus, this one was real easy for me.
Is it OK if it rides for a while longer?

Okay, this one should be pretty easy for the folks around here...
Why in the world are we here
Surely not to live in pain and fear
Why on earth are you there
When you're ev'rywhere
Come and get your share

Sonny James (The Southern Gentleman) had the first hit with it that I know of. in 56 or 57 I believe

And then Tab Hunter followed with his version almost immediately.
So you could get get your choice of Sonny's version(country) or Tab's version(pop) on the same juke box.
(If you could squeeze it in between "Paper Roses" and "He'll Have To Go".)

Hi there Irish!
See, here's how it works-------
You're supposed to post lyrics to a song for us to guess, not personal observations regarding TWI.
HaHaHa---Just funnin' wit ya.
I have no idea on this one.

Oh, is that so? (I kinda did it on purpose.) How about a clue? It's way old. Late 70's. Could be from today easily, huh?
