I find it very hard to believe that I'm the only one who knows this song... by a GREAT group... I'd answer, but I've got to go think of a TV show to post...
I'll wait till tomorrow in case Dan slips in and knows. But the mystery will be revealed. Another hint , they were considered the pioneers of Country Rock.

I wasn't sure so I "gurgled" it.
Now I'm looking for an emoticon that kicks itself in the butt.

Don't know the title but then I never did like the stones to much. unless it was covered by Flying Burrito brothers also which would make it dead flowers but I think that's another song.

Once beneath the stars, the universe was ours. Love was all we knew, and all I knew was you. I wonder where you are, I wonder if you think about me Once upon a time, IN YOUR WILDEST DREAMS. It mig

It was definately a "synch" job.
But that was pretty much accepted back then.
These guys were from the East-Side of Cleveland.
(I am from the West-Side.)
Clevelanders identify themselves as either East or West-siders.
It's mostly about which side of the Cuyahoga River Valley you are on.
You may also remember Sonny as the lead singer for Climax, who had a big hit with Precious And Few.
I just figured I would give the next one to Tom since he seemed to know the answer.
(As long as there are no objections)

you're right... I knew it... good song...
and now for the politically incorrect:
They got little baby legs
That stand so low
You got to pick 'em up
Just to say hello

(You'd Better) Shop Around. Done by several. Remember Smokey Robinson and the Miracles. Also think Captian and Tenille did a good rendetion of it.

I'll give it to you for Smokey Robinson.
The Captain and Tennille version had "Good-looking guys are a dime a dozen."

The room was humming harder
As the ceiling flew away
When we called out for another drink
The waiter brought a tray

This may be a bit obscure and if it is I will change it and play the tune. But here goes.
When I need good loving I always come home to you
You free my life time of the blues
Yes I got that old time feeling burning deep inside my soul
And I am yours and baby I'm home

...
Colorado Mountains I can see your distant shine
You're bringing me tears of joy to my eyes.

Can't wait to listen to it. Great lyrics. Vaguely familiar but not making it's way out of the recesses of my mind.

I'll go ahead... "Good Feelin' to Know" by Poco.
I've still got some of their vinyl around here somewhere... and their greatest hits CD.
(and Waysider, you should kick yourself in the butt!)

It occurs to me that I can do a "connection" thingy here:
Who knows how long this will last
Now we've come so far, so fast
But, somewhere back there in the dust
That same small town in each of us
(extra credit if you know the connection)
