He Ain't Heavy, He's my Brother-------------The Hollies
I'm not sure if the title is exactly correct.
OK----- Here's part of the trivia about it.
In the 1940s, Father Flannagan(The Boy's Town guy) contacted the people at Kiwanis Magazine and asked them for permission to use a variation of this phrase he had seen in their publication in the 1920s. They granted permission and it became the slogan for Boy's Town.
Added trivia:(Might want to verify this one) Someone told me that Elton John played the piano part on the record.
I'm betting GSG (as most will) is hearing The Boss in his head... but I'm just about resigned to the fact that Barry Bonds will in fact pass Hank Aaron this year...

Don't know the title but then I never did like the stones to much. unless it was covered by Flying Burrito brothers also which would make it dead flowers but I think that's another song.

That's a good tune. I don't want to be a hog so I won't answer it.
When the title is revealed, though, do a search on it and you will get all kinds of cool trivia.

Don't you know the people were dancin' like they were mad?
It was the swingin'est band they had ever had
It was the swingin'est song that could ever be
It was a night with Daddy G.
Let me tell you now
I never had it so good
Yeah, and I know you never could
Until you get hip with that jive
And take a band like The Church Street Five.
(The cover is plenty good enough but I would really like the original if possible.)

Down on the Corner CCR
Hungry as hell no food to eat
And Joe said that he would sell his soul
For just a piece of meat
Water enough to drink for two
And Joe said to me, I'll have a swig
And then there's some for you

Man, this just shows how powerful music can be.
It can really eat away at your psyche.
The band had one stinkin' hit and yet the lyrics still keep floatin' around in our minds.
BTW-----There was a Way album by the same title as this song.

Don't you even try tellin' me
That you want me to end it this way
'Cause, darlin', darlin'
Can't you see I want you to stay?
HINT:
Even though this was the first big hit in a long string of successes, it is not typical of the type of music the group is known for.
