The song is clearly "(It's Only a) Paper Moon," though I can't think of anyone recording it in the last 50 years. Ella Fitzgerald did a notable rendition.
Yes, Ella did a great rendition of it - I believe Nat Cole also did it justice. I'm a big Ella fan - but it's sorta my "Towanda" music - if I'm in a bad mood and have already opened a bottle of wine before hubby gets home, and he hears Ella playing, he knows he's in the dawg house! (It's not a frequent occurance.)

Don't know the title but then I never did like the stones to much. unless it was covered by Flying Burrito brothers also which would make it dead flowers but I think that's another song.

Once beneath the stars, the universe was ours. Love was all we knew, and all I knew was you. I wonder where you are, I wonder if you think about me Once upon a time, IN YOUR WILDEST DREAMS. It mig

Like that one needs to be named, but, ok-Johnny Cash

More?
It's a downright joy for a country boy
When he hears them engines moan
But you gotta hang tough and it gets real rough
When you're out there on your own
Cause they'll push you around, they'll knock you down
When you're up there against the wall

Ah,
a rock song released in my lifetime!
(AFAIK)
That's "White Room", by Cream.

Ashes to Ashes (We All Fall Down) - Grateful Dead
That's from the Touch of Grey album - good album! Probably one of my more fav Dead albums, although it's the more mainstream of all of them.

And the biggest commercial success.
The next album, "Without a Net", was a LOT less successful.
Correct-although the correct title of the song is "Throwing Stones".
(Long song, too-I was prepared to post a LOT of quotes.)
So,
your turn, Chas.

I didn't realize that they had an album after that - I wasn't a big Deadhead - some of their music just all sounded alike after a while...
So, here we go...
Has my blood pressure got a hold on me
Or is this the way love's supposed to be

OKEE DOKEE
If I ever leave you
You can say I told you so
If I ever hurt you baby
You know I hurt myself as well
Is that any way for a man to carry on
You think he wants
his little loved one gone
