Last concert I went to at Mud Island in Memphis before moving to Florida when I was 20. AWESOME CONCERT!! Well, till I found out that my date was 38 years old and had a daughter MY AGE! :o He looked young - I guess I looked old. :( John Kaye and Steppenwolf played, too. Both bands totally rocked!!!
I went to a free concert that they gave way back when, in Vancouver, WA on the 4th of July. We had some friends that had a house not far from the park where we partied.

Don't know the title but then I never did like the stones to much. unless it was covered by Flying Burrito brothers also which would make it dead flowers but I think that's another song.

That sounds like a blast, Moony! Perfect location for a concert and private bathrooms nearby.
Looks like it's the Moony & Belle Show today. :P Here's my lyric:
On the seventh hour
Oh Lord, on the seventh dayz

I don't know.
I do want to point out, however, that I posted a C&W song a couple weeks ago and no one got it.
Vince Vance and me: LONG story.

It's only cause I wasn't here, George. ;) I'd have gotten it.
Here's a few more lyrics for ya to chew on...
I tell you on the seventh month, child
Hey, the seven doctors say

Reminds me of "The Seventh Son" by Johnny Rivers, but I doubt that's it.

Nope. The band that sang this was mentioned earlier in the thread, but not too long ago. ;)
If no one gets it by lunch time, I'll post another song lyric.
And George: I'd LOVE to hear that story!

No takers, eh?
Here it is:
You know, the whole wide world gonna know
Oh Lord, I'm your Hoochie Coochie man
Yes, you know I'm here
Everybody knows I'm here

I guess I'm embarrassed because I DON'T!!!
It does seem familiar; I just don't "hear" a tune associated with it.

A little more of the same....
Looking in their eyes,
I see a memory I never realized
how happy you made me.

Wow! I didn't think it would be THIS hard....
Here's part of the chorus:
You came and you gave without taking,
but I sent you away.

"Dirty Water" by the Standells. (Did that song actually have the F-word in it? I could never quite make out what came between "lovers' and "thieves.")

"Fuggers", George, is what I've seen on the lyrics and what I sing when I'm playing it. :P
This is one of my all time favorite songs!
