There's a name I haven't heard in a while. Mel had a contract to install the windows in all the public schools in Lincoln one year (1982). While he was here one of his workers enrolled in PFAL and took it at my house. He also had a co-worker or partner named Bob Pinali (sp?)
Yeah...I met Mel in 1976...we were wows in Chicago...me and Mel and Penny and Debbie. Mel married Dorothy, she was a wow in the other family...Mel and I were partners in a remodeling business during our wow year...everybody called him "work like hell Mel"...really liked him...good guy.
Wow .. now there's a blast from the past! I remember going out to Mel's trailer when I was a College WOW at UNC-Chapel Hill in the early 1970s. He had recently taken PFAL. Nice guy. Ran into him again when we went out for a witnessing weekend during my stint in the 13th Corps .. but I have no idea whether it was in Kansas or Colorado...all those weekend trips sort of meld together after all these years.
