I looked at the post, but can't see the clip because of firewalls at work. I was going to wait till I got home because I don't really understand the whole gist of the thing.
I'm sure it's the normal TWIt b.s. rhetoric and I'm glad to see that national news organizations are starting to take this cult stuff seriously. I posted a story from GMA this morning on the Open website. The rebuttal from the leaders of that cult sounds suspiciously familiar. I wonder if they all have the same lawyers.
Oh, my mistake. I was transcribing on the fly. That makes much more sense , in the 5 senses realm. I must not have aquired an in depth spiritual perception and awareness ;)-->
But I would like to know, after this little report, what is the general impression of the community? How do they feel about a place that won't let you visit your departed loved ones and friends without jumping through more hoops than a circus cat? Plus you have to be "escorted", as if you need help to keep from getting lost. What is with that? What are they afraid of?
IMO, TWI deserves any beating they get on this one.
It's worth watching the whole thing, they did a very good job reporting and giving equal time to all parties. (but if I hear another TV reporter start out with the line "and then something went terribly wrong" I'll spit) I would have liked to see another clip of Doug. (Doug - pat that hair down a little)
The Way Suit being interviewed made a really stupid statement, namely that The Way did not believe that "Dr. Weirwille ever made that statement to (them)", in regards to Bottoms saying she was promised that she would always be able to visit that area. That's going to come back to haunt them I'm sure.
Bottom's point that the area should be given some dignified consideration as a sacred or special area is reasonable I think. Certainly the Way has a right to do what they want with their property but when others have an interest in it, those interests should be given better consideration. It's more than a driveway to a house the Way "kept" and a log cabin "chalet" that has no business being in an Ohio stand of trees housing a pack of lazy, itinerant squatters who are perfectly content to mooch off the good will and hard earned money of others as long as they can get away with it.
Hey, Socks. What do you think of that picture of the billboard? It was from a couple weeks ago, ice storm. Ha! (Comment over there) Show your wife please.
The PR-guy (R!c* M*n*ll!)... what a sleezy schmuck! I remember him being such a good guy back in the beginning, and it pains me to see him spewing that crap about "family dwellings" and "ministry functions", blah blah blah... and "we don't believe Dr. Wierwille ever made them that promise..." Boy, I'd love to just smack that smug smile right off his kisser.
But I loved her comeback, "What, do they think we just went and buried them all by ourselves?" in other words... we kinda had to have somebody's approval to even do this in the first place... DUH!!!!
I can only hope lots and lots of folks saw the footage.
Ex... R!co and his wife R@b!n are 18th corps and were on the fast track to the top ranks pretty much from graduation on... he's been twi's PR mouthpiece for some time now.

Over 130 views of this and not one reply?
First of all: There are more than a few remains buried there.......
Sigh, after listening to this, and it took me a few days to get my stomach ready to do so, maybe I do understand why it's remained silent in here.
I'm sorry I listened to it.

Georgio, somebody just got the punctuation wrong. "We don't really believe. Promises were made."
