It reminds me of my favorite scene in the movie "Cool Hand Luke". Luke had been run down and caught after an escape attempt. The guards are putting leg irons on him and captain tells him and the other prisoners "it's for his own good".
Luke comes back with "wished you wouldn't treat me so good, captain" and the captain smacks him on the head with a blackjack.
