At the time of my posting this response to your initial post of this thread, there have been roughly over 60 hits on this and no response....
The thing is, dear Skyrider, that everyone who has left, or should I say, everyone who has a mind to THINK, knows that there's no logical answer to your question.
In short.... Who the hell knows?!?
(I think that if anyone did try to honestly answer your question, I would suspect they are still "in"....)
Looking at twi headquarters reminds me of the Astrodome in Houston. At one time it was the home of the Houston Astros, Houston Oilers and a multiplicity of events...today, it's mostly abandoned, they use it for the rodeo but it sits empty most of the time.
You're right Ex...I didn't mean to insult the Astrodome...perhaps a better analogy would be to compare twi hdqrts to a septic tank on an abandoned property...nothing much left in there, but it still smells bad.

Your right, Chas.......no logical answer to these questions.
That picture brings new meaning to the word stagnant.. man, is that the best smile she can produce? Exie, something that would really be scary- Rosie minus makeup.
Heh heh.. holy cow.. poor kids. Probably need psychological councilling after that! Might be better off leaving her in the back room of some defunct cult- at least the kids are spared.
If you were a stiff, I mean staff person, wouldn't this be a depressing weekend? At least there is some activity around "Ho HO." Sending out the treasured BOD Ho Ho card, the obligatory phone hookup, praying until 2 in the morning for Rosie's bunions, etc. Now what? Back to pretending you're on to the next great thing, I suppose. Ugh!

When I worked on staff in the 70's, there were 80 of us non-corps and corps grad staffers, with 100 interim corps staff. We managed. :)-->
And we had exponential growth, as far as followers go.
Our church has over 8,000 members and a staff of 25, most of which are part-timers. Makes one go hmmmmm.....

How much of the bloated staff situation is due to TWI still owning the original Wierwille farm?
I imagine that they could still administratively run a small organization like TWI has become out of small to medium suite of offices.
How much office space does it take to run a magazine? How many people does it take to oversee the Way Corps? Train the Way Corps?
Is much of the labor and space and expense due to keeping several sections of former farmland mowed and neat looking?

Exie, that photo was probably taken after a two week session with reflections.

The only other possibility: this was one of the "holiday" pictures sent out with the card to scare the staff.

Heh heh heh.. have to put one of hockey mask thingies on her. The only problem, it would be less scary.

Here's a picture submitted to the present spewth website www.presentspewth.com to the new art gallery
http://www.presentspewth.com/Art_Gallery.htm I think it is a less scary picture than excathedra's picture, although more "cosmetic surgery" is needed :P-->

If I were her, I'd use some of that ABS for plastic surgery to get rid of that turkey neck.

Lucky for her that she's so good looking because I hear she's not much of a teacher.
