Jim
There was a year of door-to-door? Sure was. I think it was around 1977. It really separated the brown-shirts from the rest of us. At the ROA at the end of the year Vic's keystone teaching was on healing. I wonder why.
br'erziska
I don't miss the flattery. Or people at teen camp acting all spiritually aware about where I was at, and telling me how I should "control/renew my goddamn mind" Or the shallow catch-phrases I have a headache, but I am sure that I'll think of more... outintexas
I don't miss the running around from class to meeting to "special event" etc. and then getting yelled at for not having my family and house in order.
Bramble
Don't miss how small children were treated in the branch/fellowship as one step ahead of possessed. Don't miss no system of grievance to deal with bad leadership. Don't mise fake friendly conversation after fellowship, where the co-ord was salivating to get something to hang on you. Don't miss fake friends, period.
