I think of PFAL as a mediocre attempt at presenting keys to unlock the scriptures.
There is some pretty good stuff in PFAL, but unfortunately, there is some pretty eroneous stuff too. Enough errorenous stuff to make PFAL fail dismally as any kind of valid theological system or handbook of faith. It is a case of a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.
As I look into PFAL teachings more after 22 years of taking the first class, I see a lot of error and I am surprised that men of education taught what they did.

I think it was better than mediocre and am grateful I took it.
Far from perfect, of course. A lot of error? I think so. A lot of truth too.
Hey Eagle, welcome.
Coffee?

Why did PFAL "suceed"?
Salvation Romans 10:9-10
"I love the Lord Jesus Christ" was part of it.
The Father and The Son of God (not God the Son) were in it.
The Hope
"This same Jesus...is coming back...as King of kings and Lord of lords...AS the LORD God Almighty!"
S.I.T.
The truth about death, resurrection, the hope.
Ambassadors for Christ. Christ in you the hope of glory.
Fellowship
a few other things...all of the good in it did not need to take 33 hours to teach...most of it was VP's p.i.

If a styrofoam cup is one way God chose to bring the Water of Life to some folks, it's got merit, for sure.

Yeah,
Just don't serve the BOD coffee in styrofoam...or you'll see how much merit it has.

Thanks, Raf. I'm drinking some now. But I'll take a cini-bun if there is any in this place.
I agree with you there. I am grateful they got me turned on to the Word of God, especially in the fashion they did. I just did not expect the outcome.
God Bless everyone here, BTW.

I won't go into it right now, but when one says The Son of God they are equating Jesus with God.

I agree. Calling someone "a sonofabitch" equates him with a _itch, but he is not a _itch.
I won't say any more about it.
