Send me a PT to let me know when you're going. I work in Crystal City and so maybe we could meet for lunch...might have a couple of ideas for some other things to do that aren't on the normal tourist route, either.
We'll be there Saturday, February 19, Sunday, and Monday, the 21st. Our flight back that Monday is around 2:30 p.m., so activities that day will have to conclude no later than 1 p.m.
Well, if you are flying through National (DCA), I could meet you for lunch on the 21st. There is a Friday's and a Legal Seafood at the airport (before the security points). That way you could be in place in plenty of time for your flight back. I can just grab the metro from Crystal City to the airport, so it works good for me.
Dang. Dulles is a trip away (over 30 miles each way). No way to do a workday lunch there. We could meet in Tyson's Corner, though. That's about 1/2 there -- time-wise. There's a Rainforest Cafe that we could meet at at Tysons Corner Center. If we met at 11, you could be on your way and at the airport by 1, no probs. Where are you guys staying, anyway?
You two must still be newlyweds :)-->. It's like dealing with a tag team in a wrestling match (without all the violence!). 9a.m. sounds good. If anything changes let me know.
We get that a lot, Flow...comes from sharing a brain (and living together for over two years!!!). But yes, we are newlyweds...will be married for ten months on the tenth of this month.
Well, that's just a stones throw away. maybe we can hook up again at some point.
There is so much to do and see. The Mall area is a must and could take up all three days. The National Gallery is a must, as is the Natural History Museum, as is the Aerospace Museum, as is at least the Jefferson building of the Library of Congress, as are all the memorials, the Corcoran Gallery, as is ....well bring your running shows, or some roller blades.
The National Portrait Museum....
Are the Chinney-chin-chins coming with?
If ya'll need a tour guild one day or maybe just some good Lebanese or Tia food, maybe I could convince the wife for us to head on down (we know the good spots). ;)-->

We don't need to put that in a PT.

Nope, we're flying through Dulles.
I'm not sure yet whether or not we'll have a rental car, but it would be fun to meet.

The St. Regis is where we'll be staying.
Rainforest Cafe, that sounds good.

Yup, totally.
The tix are non-refundable, not that they cost us anything. But if we cancel, we're out the tix.
It'd be a hoot if you were there too!

Thanks Cindy!, but is that A.M. or P.M. Either time should be okay for me. If you need a ride from the airport, let me know.

That's a.m.
Again, we're not sure yet if we'll be getting a rental car - we're leaning towards "not", and if so, a ride would certainly be welcome!
