Details about Pawtucket's dad's funeral

I was chatting with folks in the cafe the other night, telling them how beautiful the funeral was.

Why don't you post that fabulous picture of your father playing the bagpipes here? I know they would really like it - they said so!

And, as others have intimated - the fruit didn't fall far from the tree: You are a man's man, proud to be an American, never letting your friends down, taking care of family, thankful for the simple things in life, and most of all - maintaining a wonderful sense of humor.

I am thankful you are alive, and glad that your dad made that possible!

You're the best!

It was taken in 1949-1951. I believe that this is the photo taken when he was trying out for the Ted Mack Amateur Hour.

A Father's Prayer

paw-My condolences on your loss-Lost my Mom a few years ago, and really the loss of family is a bitter pill no matter what age, or what time.

If I could, I'd send you a bouquet. As it is, my thoughts and prayers must make do.
